Sorry for the lack of updates.....but as you can see we have been VERY busy!!!! As you all know by now...mommy has been busy growing a bew baby in her belly for me, and I have been busy going to many shows!!! I went to Cats and LOVED IT!!! I'm getting to be such a big girl, and I think mommy is really starting to see my TRUE personality come through!!! I have become my own person!!! I'm SO excited to be a BIG sister, I get alot of info from my cousin Owen, about all the great things I can expect when this baby gets here!!! I'm hoping that the weather breaks soon, so that I can start to really enjoy the outside....as you can see, I have been out a little already! So in a nutshell, that is what I have been up to lately! OH.....my cousin Addie has turned 1 and is SO much fun to play with...she really looks up to me and I can't wait to have to overnights, play make-up and talk about Elmo!!!!

Sorry it has taken me so long to update my latest news...but I can never get Mommy off of the computer long enough so that I can use it.

So much has happened. I am officially walking! I walked two days after Mommy took me to the Doctor to find out what my deal was. Mommy's goal was to have me walking by Easter (because she wanted me to be in a dress) and do you believe I waited until Easter Day to officially start walking! Everyone was so happy. Now, I am running laps around Mommy (if you can believe that is possible!)

We are settled already in Elmhurst and loving every minute of it. There are 22 girls alone on my block (girls rule!) and a lot of them are my age. We have two play dates already for this week :)

I am going to my first concert at the House Of Blues Downtown Chicago to see my favorite singer~~~RALPH'S WOLRD! I can hardly wait. Mommy has let me watch the DVD so that I can get all fired up! I love to sing to his songs :)

I about gave both Mommy and Daddy a heart attack last week. I was in the tub pouring water from a cup into a bowl and I started counting...and counted all the way up to 16 all by myself!!!! Mommy and Daddy stood there with their mouths open in disbelief! Then, I was watching Sesame and they stopped counting at 19 and I shouted 20! Mommy and Daddy were both there again in shock. Now my new thing is singing the ABC's. I get some letters mixed up, but I think I am doing pretty good for a 19 month old! I also pointed to my Big Bird bath paint and said yellow... I told Mommy "pooping" while I was going number 2 so I am hoping she gets the hint and gets me out of these diapers..they make my butt look big!!!!

I had the greatest time doing our family photo shoot...what great memories to have saved so that we can look at them forever!

Hope it does not take another 4 months to write more news~~~So glad to be back home!

Boy, have I been slacking! To catch you up....we had an AWESOME Thanksgiving with Aunt Sharns, Uncle J and Cuzin O! We went to Hershey Park and I had my first carousel ride. Daddy was a bit nervous on letting me get on the ride, but Mommy got him to let me go on it. The ride was alright...did not see why Daddy made such a big deal :')

Just got back from my first trip to the Big Apple! What an amazing time I had..Hello Broadway! I saw my first Broadway Show! It was the Grynch and I loved every second of it. We had incredible seats so I could see everything up close. I clapped and raised my arms in the air to do my infamous "hip, hip , hooray"! Mommy and Daddy were dying laughing. At the end of the show they shot off these cannons and confetti flew out...I caught some and held it in my hand the entire day as a momento of what a great time I had.

Later that day we went to Rockafeller Plaza and saw all of the Christmas Decorations. I could not believe all of the people!!!!! I am such a people watcher so I loved every minute of it. Was hoping to see Matt, Meredith, and Al while I was in town, but I slept in too late each morning..Mommy wasn't complaining about that.

Walked to Central Park and got to go on a carriage ride. I have to say it was "a moment". It was so cozy with Mommy and Daddy and I really did not want the ride to end.

Hit some pizza places while we were there...I have to say the fries at the hotel ROCKED and that is pretty much all I ate. Gotta love room service.

Surprise!!! Yes, we have decided to come home for Christmas....gotta meet Uncle D and Aunt C~~~FINALLY! It is going to be a short visit, but I can hardly wait.

I am still not walking, but talking like crazy. I am saying Momma, Daddy, crackers, doggy, ball, go, stop, puppy, hello, butterfly, cool, bye, purple, peace, E~I~E~I~O, The Bops, bow, pat, pat, pat blastoff!....I have this new thing I do. I rest the phone between my ear and shoulder and act like Mommy when she is on the phone. I love to say hi into it. I may not look like Mommy, but I sure am dramatic like she is. When I talk, I move my shoulders and flap my arms in the air...I love to dance. Mommy has me hooked on the Ralph's World and Dan Zane's music video DVD....the minute she puts it on my hips are moving! I think Mommy likes them more than me (or at least that what I hear Daddy saying!) I also kiss everything in sight...I love dolls and the first thing I do when I see one is say "Wow, pretty". I got my first American Doll from Aunt Shirley and Uncle Joe and I am in awe every time I see her.

One last thing...can anyone reading this please convince Mommy to stop dressing like me? It is a bit embarrassing!

I cannot believe it has already been a year since Katrina hit. I am so happy that Mommy and Daddy decided to leave when they did or else I may have been born in the Superdome...Yikes! I am loving H~burg but I sure miss the flare of New Orleans. Mommy and Daddy have promised to take me to Jazz Fest every year and I am still working on getting them to go to Mardi Gras too. I am a native Cajun (although by birth certificate begs to differ) and I need to keep that fun city fresh in my mind!

...Okay, got my first "bump" between the eyes! Not sure yet if I will have a bruise or not, but I sure have a bump :'( I was under the care of my Mommy too! Can you believe that!

Also, Mommy and Daddy do not know this but I accidentally checked Mommy's email and I saw an email confirmation from ticketmaster for Sesame Street Live with Elmo!!!!!! High Five! I have to admit I would rather being seeing it in NY City, but Baltimore will do...sounds like we will be making a weekend of it. Cannot wait!!! What an awesome birthday surprise...

Mommy had more pictures of me and they will be posted if she ever gets her new computer hooked up!

....Okay, I know it has been awhile since I have updated my latest news, but believe me life has been pretty crazy for this 10 month old!!! I will fill you in on the latest with my development: I have a ton of hair. Believe it or not it is pretty light. I now have two bottom teeth. I can say Momma, Dadda, and dog. I am standing really well on my own and even doing some walking with help. I can go up and down stairs and even get out of my "around the world exersaucer"!!!!!!! I stayed in Indiana for two weeks at Uncle Jay and Aunt Sharon's house which was a blast! Owen was the greatest playmate ever! Then I lived at a Residence Inn for over a month. It was fun at first but really old quite quickly! The one and only time I got to go to the pool some lady tried to take me from my Mommy and show my Mommy how she was suppose to hold me in the pool. Mommy of course would not let the lady take me and that was the end of that! I was quite surprised when we moved out and it was 100 degrees outside and I was expected to help with the move...Mommy had me on one hip and stuff in the other hand while Daddy loaded up the truck! I don't know how they did it but we pulled it off somehow and I know the next time we move I am going to be out of town!!!! We are now living in our beautiful house in H~burg and are anxiously awaiting our furniture....Mommy and Daddy have slept on a blow-up matress for almost a month now! And the worst part about it is that our neighbor thought we were moved in and that we could probably not afford furniture after buying this house!!!! I was quite embarrassed and of course Mommy was quite P~off! Grandma Connie is here to help watch me so that I do not have to help out when the furniture gets here from New Orleans...we are having a blast! My face hurt from laughing so hard with her!
Me, Mommy and Daddy cannot believe that it is almost going to be a year since we evacuated for Katrina. There still is not a day that goes by that I do not hear Mommy and Daddy talking about what a crazy year and a half we have had and how happy they are to finally be settled in H~burg...it makes me feel so good to know that I am finally in a safe place. I have learned so much at such an early age about what it takes to make it through tough times...I have been around more tough times then most adults have in a lifetime.....but it only makes us stronger! Hope that updates everyone on what is going on. Hopefully Mommy will get some time to get some more pictures of me! Two more months and I will be the big 1!!!!! Cannot wait!!!

Oh...and I am loving Gymboree and playtime at the mall...I have made a ton of friends and am quite the social butterfly :')

Oh boy...sorry I have been slacking! So much has been happening. Where should I start? I have enough hair to have a "faux hawk" like cuzin Owen, I can stand on my own, I am FINALLY eating some solids, I luv to give Mommy kisses, I am moving to Pennsylvania, I am taking amazing naps these days, I luv to sit on the back porch and listen to the birds, The fellas are the best and I love them more than ever! I CAN CRAWL AS OF TODAY!!!!! Yipee!!!! I have to thank Uncle J, Aunt Sharns, and Cuzin Owen for getting me those Minie Mouse ears b/c that was the thing that got me to finally move forward! I LOVED IT SOOO MUCH! I am going to Chicago next weekend to celebrate my 8th month birthday. Me and the girls got a hotel on Michigan Avenue to shop 'til we drop!!! I CANNOT wait!
